As part of mce’s commitment to the protection of our customers’ data and their customers’ data, MCE became certified for the Privacy Shield framework (1).

MCE is now certified for both the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. frameworks. This was done as part of the continuous improvement plan for security and privacy protection which MCE is committed to.

MCE is also compliant with GDPR (2), ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (3) and ISO/IEC 27017:2015 (4)

From the Privacy Shield website:

The EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Frameworks were designed by the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the European Commission and Swiss Administration, respectively, to provide companies on both sides of the Atlantic with a mechanism to comply with data protection requirements when transferring personal data…

The data protection compliance applies to all of MCE omnichannel solutions and products and includes MCE’s cloud data services, analytics, and the Mobix solution.

All of mce’s services and infrastructure are built with a ‘customer first’ approach and are carrier and enterprise-grade. In reality, it enforces stricter privacy and security protocols than the ones required by Privacy Shield to protect both the end customers and the enterprises serving them.

Privacy Shield

(1) Privacy Shield is a framework for regulating transatlantic exchanges of personal data for commercial purposes between the European Union and the United States. The EU–US Privacy Shield is a replacement for the International Safe Harbor Privacy Principles, which were declared invalid by the European Court of Justice.
