UK Customer Experience Awards 2023
Best CX Innovation and Best Applied Technology
MCE Systems and Vodafone UK won two gold awards forโBest CX Innovationโ and โBest Applied Technologyโ โ at CXA 23.
The awards recognize the success of Vodafoneโs omnichannel customer trade-in program, which uses MCE’s AI-based remote device grading technology to improve the experience for both customers and frontline staff by allowing them to accurately determine device trade-in values in under three minutes through the MyVodafone app.
The program delivered a substantial increase in trade-in volumes and customer satisfaction ratings. It also encouraged customers to adopt a โdigital-firstโ approach, with 91% opting to start the trade-in process through the app and subsequently completing it either in-store or at home.
MCE and Vodafone joined other 2023 winners including HSBC, Legal & General, and Talkmobile.

MCE Systems and Vodafone UK won Best Customer Experience at the 2023 Digital Transformation Awards.The award recognized MCE’s highly accurate, AI-powered remote grading technology, which boosted Vodafone UKโs trade-ins into the lead position in terms of customer satisfaction.
MCEโs technology enabled Vodafone customers to trade in their devices digitally-first through their MyVodafone App. Vodafone utilized the technology to provide a guaranteed price to subscribers, offering them more control over the transaction and greater transparency when calculating the final trade-in price.
MCE and Vodafone joined other 2023 winners including AstraZeneca, Lloyds Banking Group, Sony Pictures Entertainment, and Virgin Media O2 in partnership with NTT DATA.
